Since 2009, the 1,100 largest Danish companies have been required to account for their corporate responsibility policies, activities and results. The account must be included in the management review section of the annual report or appear in a separate report or on the company’s website.
If the business has joined the UN Global Compact or the UN Principles for Responsible Investment, it may simply refer to the progress report that members of these associations are required to prepare.
At the Danske Bank Group, we have supported the UN Global Compact since 2007. To meet the statutory requirements, we therefore refer to our Global Compact Communication on Progress report (COP).
