The Danske Bank Group is one of the few financial institutions that has gathered all its products, processes and systems – across countries, brands and product areas – on one shared platform. We have nearly 2,000 IT colleagues divided between four development centres. All work according to the same development model: Service Oriented Architecture. Our IT infrastructure supports the use of shared services, regardless of whether they are developed on an IBM mainframe or a Microsoft platform.

You will work for the Test Management unit of Consultancy Services, which is an internal consultancy service within the Group’s main development unit, Shared Services Centre. We are based in Glostrup, Lyngby and Brabrand. Consultancy Services has a total of 220 employees. We are responsible for providing the right professional competencies for the Danske Bank Group’s various development projects. We recruit and co-ordinate the best consultants within project management, test management, IT development and process and business development.

Danske Bank offers a 21-month training programme. Your job in Test Management will involve

• initiating, estimating, planning, managing and supervising tests
• choosing and using relevant test methods, techniques, types and tools
• planning, preparing, holding and following up on test-related meetings and workshops
• identifying and managing test risks
• evaluating, following up on and concluding tests

The success criteria are that the project’s product has the fewest possible errors – preferably none – after implementation and that the test process is under control throughout the project.

After 18 months we will hold a career interview, where we will discuss your ambitions and potential. We are a competency-oriented organisation, highly focused on your personal and professional development. You will have the opportunity to continue your career as, for example, a specialist, a project manager, a process consultant or a test manager.

You are a recent graduate and hold a masters degree in information technology or computer science. You are comfortable working in both Danish and English. Most importantly, you are enthusiastic about working within test management. You work in a well-structured, result-oriented and independent way and are willing to take the initiative. Moreover, you are capable of planning and involving others in projects. It is also important that you are meticulous and focused on quality, capable of working under pressure and outgoing and that you have good communication skills.
