Anchored centrally in business development in Personal Banking, the Pricing team is a centre-of-excellence paving the way towards higher proficiency within pricing strategy and pricing execution across our four Nordic markets. With a growing agenda we are looking for a new senior business development consultant to join us on this journey.
The job
You will be the commercial bridge between our Market Areas and your collegaues with deep data and advanced analytical capabilities, as well as be responsible for bridging knowledge and sharing best practice across the wider pricing community in the organisation.
Specifically, you will:
• help our Market Areas set the right price based on a deep understanding of our customers
• drive our agenda to become more data-driven and sophisticated in pricing
• participate in the development of a robust and dynamic pricing strategy
• supply adhoc pricing analysis
• model, monitor and control existing pricing structures
• help document the effect of pricing initiatives to determine best practices
You will be part of the central Pricing team in Personal Banking Business Development in Copenhagen. The team will consist of pricing consultants and data analysts developing advanced pricing models, jointly supporting the pricing analysts in our Market Areas with local P&L responsibility. The working environment in business development is characterized by empowerment, high impact projects, team-work, and cross-functional ways-of-working. The right candidate could also take a larger role in a new value propostion programme – a cornerstone in shaping the future of Danske Bank.
The candidate
You enjoy challenging colleagues and management with new perspectives and data-driven insights. You are analytical, quality focused and know what details to focus on. You thrive on generating actionable quantitative insights, are able to transform them into proposals and able to get buy-in on all levels in the organisation. As a person you are curious, result-oriented and have a positive mindset.
You have a relevant academic background and a good combination of pricing or commercial experience and analytical experience. Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience from a similar industry position or a management consultancy with a proven commercial track-record, superior excel skills and flair for data and predictive modelling. This job allows you to strengthen your mixed profile, to take more commercial responsibility or to move deeper into the analytical disciplines depending on your preference.
Finally, you want to take a strong part in shaping and maturing our pricing centre-of-excellence together with your colleagues and the new head of pricing.
Strong English skills are a must and you should expect some travel within the Nordic countries.
