The Danske Bank Group wishes to support a diversified debate on socially responsible investment. For this reason, the Group became a founding member of Dansif, a network for sharing knowledge and discussing SRI issues.
Dansif was inspired by the European Social Investment Forum (Eurosif), whose mission is to address sustainability in the financial markets through networking, research and lobbying. Unlike Eurosif, Dansif is an organisation devoted exclusively to knowledge sharing. Dansif was launched in January 2009 and since April 2010 we have chaired the forum as well.
During 2010 the Danske Bank Group became a member of similar forums (SIF's) in Finland, Sweden and Norway, which also supports the international agenda in this area.
