Carbon neutralityCarbon neutrality

As part of the Danske Bank Group’s climate strategy, we set a goal of becoming carbon neutral for all our activities. We reached this goal for the first time in December 2009. Our Greenhouse Gas Accounts show, how we also have achieved neutrality in 2010 and 2011.

We achieve the neutrality by reducing CO2 emissions from our own operations and offsetting the remainder by investing in carbon credits from carbon credit projects. Our objective is first of all to reduce our own CO2 emissions and only to offset the amount that we cannot eliminate.
