In the past few years the Danske Bank Group has developed several investment products focused on renewable energy and climate. Most recently, in October 2009, Danske Invest launched a mutual fund called KlimaTrends (Climate Trends).

The fund invests in companies that Danske Invest believes are well prepared to meet the climate challenges and thus give good long-term returns. These are not simply “green” companies but also companies that are expected to adjust to changing conditions and companies with products or services that will improve environmental conditions and the climate.
These are some of the segments in which Climate Trends invests:
- Energy savings
- Sustainable transport
- Fossil fuels with low CO2 emissions
- Efficient use of natural resources
- Clean energy
