The Danske Bank Group works methodically to ensure diversity and inclusion. This means that we wish to create equal career opportunities for a variety of staff regardless of their background, age, gender and nationality. We have therefore chosen to take part in the Danish Institute for Human Rights’ Diversity Lab project.

Diversity Lab is a network in which businesses meet to share experience and create tools, ideas and methods that can help attract, retain and manage various types of employee.
The project also aims to make the businesses better at taking advantage of diversity as a resource that can be used to strengthen the capacity for innovation, among other things.
We hope that our participation will give us a better understanding of diversity and inclusion and will help us to develop some concrete tools that supplement our current work to create good conditions for an increasingly international and complex staff.
In order to ensure that the project is grounded in our organisation – and that the tools we develop work in practice and create value – our Shared Services Centre unit will be used in a pilot project. In the next six months, the unit will try various new methods to promote inclusion and afterwards will share its experience with the other businesses in the Diversity Lab.
After the completion of the project we will tell more about our participation in the Diversity Lab here on our Web site.
