The Danske Bank Group wants to be an attractive place to work for all candidates with the right skills. Ethnic background, gender, religion and sexual orientation play no role in the recruitment and development of Group staff.

Girl

To realise our ambition, we have introduced a number of measures:

  • We focus on increasing the number of female executives to ensure that all employees with executive potential have the opportunity to develop their talents.
  • We have launched recruitment campaigns and introductory programmes for employees in Denmark with minority ethnic backgrounds.
  • We take our social responsibility seriously. For example, some of our jobs are flexible jobs designed for people who cannot hold a demanding full-time job, and we support employees who need flexible job conditions for a period of time.

Promoting integration

The Danske Bank Group takes an active role in the financial sector's integration projects, whose aim is to secure employment for highly qualified immigrants.

Immigrant training programme
In 2007, the Group continued to promote the employment of competent immigrants in Denmark through a sector training programme.

David Dadmel exemplifies how the integration project benefits both parties. Today, he works as a cashier at the Greve Strand Branch.
