With the introduction of its Greenfleet environmental package in 2008, Nordania Leasing revised its company car policy. It implemented a number of formal requirements for its own fleet of 69 vehicles. In the beginning, all vehicles had to run on diesel fuel. Since then, the fuel efficiency of many petrol vehicles has improved, and it is no longer necessary to exclude them for environmental reasons. All Nordania's vehicles are now eco-rated from A to D, whether they run on diesel or petrol.
In addition to Nordania itself, half of its fleet customers have adopted part or all of the Greenfleet programme.
