Like other banks, Danske Bank is involved in the work to create good working conditions for the financial sector. We do this partly through our membership in industry organisations.

The Danske Bank Group does not provide direct support to individual political parties.
Through the Danish Bankers' Association, Danske Bank is a member of "Finanssektorens Forening til Støtte af et Sundt og Konkurrencedygtigt Erhvervsliv" (the Financial Sector's Association to Support a Healthy and Competitive Private Sector) in Denmark.
The association was founded in 2007, and it supports various measures and causes that promote a healthy and competitive private sector, including political parties. The executive management of the Danish Bankers' Association determines what particular causes it supports. Danske Bank thus does not decide what the assocation does and whom or what it supports.
The Danish Bankers' Association has disclosed that in the past the assocation has supported the following Danish political parties: the Liberal Party, the Conservative Party, the Social Liberal Party, the Liberal Alliance, the Social Democrats and the Danish People's Party.
Besides an annual subscription fee of DKK 1,000, the association's members have the opportunity to make an optional contribution from year to year.
