ChildrenChildren

Today children have more money at their disposal than ever before. They spend it independently and have a large influence on their families' spending. We therefore wish to give children a fundamental understanding of the value of money, of how it is earned and saved, and of how to prioritise spending.

We feel that, along with parents and schools, we share a responsibility for teaching children how to handle money sensibly
.

Over the next three years, the Group will develop several financial literacy initiatives aimed at children and teens, their parents and teachers. The initiatives will include fun, educational Web sites for different age groups, free teaching materials, a train-the-teacher programme and a theme day at schools.
