Knowledge is a very important resource in the global economy. The Danske Bank Group depends on the continual development of new knowledge in the countries and markets where we operate. We aim to promote educational excellence and access to education through our investment in educational initiatives.
One of our initiatives is providing students with children - a particularly financially vulnerable group of students - targeted advisory services and a loan on very favorable terms. Another is awarding grants to students in Norway, Ireland and Northern Ireland to help finance their studies outside their home country for one or more terms. No study grants are awarded in Denmark as of 2010.
