CompensationCompensation

Executive Board compensation is dependent on the Group's performance, whereas the Board of Directors compensation is fixed.

The Board of Directors' Remuneration Committee monitors trends in the Group's salary and bonus framework, including the incentive programmes, to ensure that they promote ongoing, long-term shareholder value creation.

As stipulated in the Act on financial stability, the Danske Bank Group will not use share options as part of compensation until at least September 2010.
