- the desire to mitigate the risk of financial losses arising from sanctions imposed by public authorities, claims for damages and the reputational damage ("compliance risk").
The Group's activities to mitigate compliance risk should live up to best practice in the countries, in which the Group is represented.
Compliance Function
The Danske Bank Group has established a Compliance function to assist the management in ensuring that the Group and its employees comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as ethical standards.
