The Danske Bank Group works systematically to identify key positions and potential successors to the present holders of such positions. It is an annual process based on discussions with the heads of the individual business and resource areas, supported by processes and data provided by Human Resources. The Executive Committee is responsible for the process and reviews the results.
The objectives are to ensure preparedness in case of unforeseen events and to facilitate long-term development of talent for the Group’s key positions.
The succession dialogue is integrated in the Group's other HR processes, including talent and management development.
