Fokus Bank ASA, Norway and National Irish Bank Limited, the Republic of Ireland, to become branches of Danske Bank A/S, Copenhagen

Fokus Bank
For the last 8 years Danske Bank A/S, Copenhagen, has been operating in Norway via its wholly-owned subsidiary bank, Fokus Bank ASA.

With effect from 1 April, 2007 Fokus Bank ASA will be converted into a branch of Danske Bank A/S, Copenhagen. The name of the branch will be:
    Fokus Bank
All the existing banking activities of Fokus Bank ASA will be transferred to Fokus Bank. Therefore, the Branch will assume all rights and obligations relating to outstanding
banking transactions with Fokus Bank ASA.

National Irish Bank
For the last 2 years Danske Bank A/S, Copenhagen, has been operating in Ireland via its wholly-owned subsidiary bank, National Irish Bank Limited.

With effect from 1 April, 2007 substantially all of the existing banking activities of National Irish Bank Limited will be transferred to the Irish branch of Danske Bank A/S.

Therefore, the Irish Branch will assume all rights and obligations of National Irish Bank Limited relating to outstanding banking transactions. The Irish branch will operate as
    National Irish Bank (NIB)
