The Danske Bank Group is based on five core values: expertise, integrity, value creation, commitment and accessibility. Each business area in the Group applies the values independently.

Common guidelines for working with the vision and mission

  • Integrity – in business affairs and as a part of society.
  • Expertise – through high standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Value creation – for shareholders, customers and employees.
  • Commitment – to customers’ financial affairs.
  • Accessibility – electronic and physical.

We constantly strive to improve and develop what we offer our customers. Our core values serve as a compass for us to follow in our efforts to become our customers’ preferred local financial partner – both ethically and professionally.

These values act as guidelines and also act as quality parameters in our day-to-day work and in staff performance appraisals as well.

Core values – from words to action
Each brand in the Group must clearly identify and differentiate itself in its market and with its customers. Because this requires flexibility, the various companies in the Group apply the core values in different ways.

A common aspect across the entire Group, however, is that the manager of each area is responsible for ensuring that employees know and use the core values. Managers can call on the assistance of a core value project manager and the Group’s resource areas to implement the values.
