Are you about to graduate? Press Enter to start your career by becoming part of Denmark’s largest IT workplace. The IT development organisation of the Danske Bank Group is now looking for new graduates for an IT Developer programme. The programme lasts 21 months and starts on May 1, 2008.
Test your abilities
The programme is an effective and exciting way of getting to know the Group. You will have the opportunity to translate theory into practice in close dialogue with your personal mentor. This will give you an excellent basis for your future career. In addition to your solid knowledge of the Group, you will build up a broad network.
“I get to move around the entire development organisation, working on various projects in different departments. This has given me a broad knowledge of the organisation through hands-on experience,” explains Kine Nordsveen, 29.
Part of the pioneer team of the financial sector
The Danske Bank Group’s IT development organisation has 2,000 employees. The working environment is informal and has a pioneer spirit. The goal is to be the most value-creating development organisation in the northern European financial sector. This means that you will get to know a wide range of projects, which are all results of the same strategy: “One platform – exceptional brands”.
The strategy is the unifying principle of everything we do. The fact that the Group runs on one platform is unique, and it puts great demands on the solutions we develop. “When we develop something for Ireland, we have to be able to use it in Finland as well,” says Peter Schleidt, Head of IT. He adds:
“Over the next five years we are going to be working on our ambitious Digital Banking Programme. Therefore, we need even more highly qualified colleagues. We know that the transition from university to work is a major change, involving many decisions and considerations. That is why we have created our graduate trainee programme.”
Programmes start three times a year
The programme, which starts on May 1, 2008, will train you to become an IT developer. We also employ new graduates in programmes that train them to become business developers and test managers. Programmes start three times a year. In 2008, the start dates are February 1, May 1 and September 1.
