In Capital Reporting, we are responsible for capital allocation and reporting in close dialogue with key stakeholders including Group Capital, Group Risk Management, business units, top management and, not least, the Danish FSA. Furthermore, we deliver high quality and strategic analysis of the link between Danske Bank’s capital structure development and financial performance. This enables Danske Bank to reach its strategic ambition and prepare for the future.
Career position with a wide network across the bank
By joining Capital Reporting you will be part of a team with a strong analytical profile consisting of seven dedicated employees in Denmark with skilled support from our Regulatory Reporting team in Lithuania. You will be working in a performance-driven organisation, with a steady focus on being a trusted business partner to our business units. Your work will have a direct impact on how the bank is run and will be reported to top management to support them in their efforts to become number one in the Nordics.
You will be expected to:
• Drive the process of analyzing link between capital consumption and business performance in the business areas. This involves calculation of risk-weighted assets in the Bank compliant with current and future regulation.
• Develop views on how to improve Danske Bank’s financial performance applying a strong analytical mindset and a sound understanding of issues relating to capital adequacy management.
• Develop a capable understanding of relevant statutory rules and how these rules are implemented and manage various long-term projects covering performance impact of new regulation or projects relating to our reporting to the FSA.
• Develop our relations with the rest of the organisation further and communicate insights in an intuitive and concise manner to all levels of the organization including top management.
You will play a key role in Danske Bank and have a wide network of contacts across the bank, within industry organisations and the FSA. Analytical mindset and a keen interest in the bank sector
You have a Master’s degree in economics or similar and have a strong interest in the bank sector and financial planning. Solid analytical skills are necessary to become a trusted business partner to our business units.
You are structured, energetic and proactive and can handle working under time pressure. You are team-oriented, flexible at peaks and strive to deliver high-quality results while meeting strict deadlines. Finally, good communication skills are essential; you are able to communicate complicated matters in simple terms and at ease when working towards top management.
