Are you looking for a challenging role with the opportunity to work independently and handle a variety of interesting tasks? Are you interested in contributing towards helping Group Risk Management in Danske Bank become the “Best Risk House in the Nordics”?

If so, then you might be the right person to join our Retail Credit Risk Governance team.

We are looking for an ambitious Senior/Chief Credit Consultant to handle credit policy and governance issues within Retail Credit Risk Management.

Retail Credit Risk Management is a global team consisting of 120 employees and is responsible for the credit risk management for all retail areas in Danske Bank, including Personal Banking, Wealth Management and Small Business. We are on a transformational journey to support a more digitalised bank. Retail Credit Governance plays an important role in supporting this transformational journey relating to credit approvals, business procedures and the control framework. Retail Credit Governance is a team that consists of seven dedicated employees. We have an enthusiastic working environment, with lots of opportunities to work independently. The team consists of a good mix of academics and banking experience. We value a good working environment with focus on strong collaboration.

As our new Senior/Chief Credit Consultant, your responsibility will be to handle credit policy and governance issues in the department, including overview of our control activities. You need to be familiar with, and keep updated on new regulation and the associated consequences for the bank for the retail credit area. You provide input for credit policy and write business procedures for the advisors in our branches. Furthermore, it is important that you identify adequate monitoring and controls to fulfil requirements from our stakeholders. Your tasks will also include handling and participating in projects for the above topics, where you will be supporting best possible customer experiences and simple processes. An important part of the job will be coordinating across countries, and sometimes the FSA. Good collaboration with other teams in the bank is vital.

Do you have what it takes?
To be able to perform in the role you should have good credit knowledge, legal flair with a high focus on quality and attention to details. It is vital that you have a positive attitude with good collaborative skills. Being able to see the big picture, and at the same time keep focus and maintain an overview of your own assignments is key. We want you to have a proactive mind-set with the ability to drive change as we prepare for tomorrows banking. You also possess the ability to work independently.

The position requires excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
