Are you passionated about financial derivatives operations? We are looking for a Senior Controller who has the energy of implementing complex derivatives lifecycle management processes and at the same time enjoy the daily routine work according to the continuously improved process.
The Derivatives and Collateral Administration team is a part of Danske Bank Wealth Management, COO area. You will become a member of a global team, which currently contains seven employees. Wealth Management is the Danske Bank Group's specialist in fund and asset management. We manage funds and assets for institutional and private investors in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Luxembourg and other countries. Our office in Denmark is located in Kgs. Lyngby, north of Copenhagen.
Your primary responsibilities will be daily independent control of derivatives administrative transactions and ensure accurate and timely processing of margin calls. You will be contributing to implement new derivatives lifecycle events control processes and procedures in conjunction with enhanced business needs.
Since we are operating in a dynamic industry with regulatory environment changes, you are also part of the force to continuously improve the working process, adapt to the changes and keep the good documentations. You will work closely with derivatives clearing brokers, OTC trades counter-parties; collaborate with traders, fund managers, business developers and the rest of colleagues in Wealth Management.
- Master’s degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent working experience in the relevant industry.
- Deep understanding of derivatives operation process and preferable knowledge about the collateral management.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good understanding of value chain in asset management and fund administration is a plus.
- Knowledge about SimCorp Dimension, which is our IT-platform, is preferable but not mandatory.
- It is an advantage if you have experiences with participating in project as a business representative.

You take a proactive, systematic and result-oriented approach to your work, maintaining a vigilant eye for details and quality. You have a good sense of humour and enjoy working in an international environment. You must be a strong team player and, finally yet importantly, you should have the ability to operate calmly under pressure, and to ensure that all tasks are dealt with in due time.
