Express transfers in Business Online

From 21 November 2014, you can make express transfers to other banks. This means that the amount will reach the beneficiary’s account with another bank within seconds, no matter when you make the transfer.

You can make express transfers 365 days a year. The payment option will be available in Business Online from November 21 and in our Mobile and Tablet Business apps from December 7.

Please note that

express transfers are available within Denmark and in Danish kroner only
the maximum amount per transaction is DKK 500,000
the transaction date must be the current date

How to make express transfers in Business Online
In Business Online you can choose to make an express transfer when you create a Danish account transfer or a NemKonto payment. In the Transfer Type drop-down menu, select Express as shown below.

What does it cost?
An express transfer costs DKK 10.

Transfers to accounts with Danske Bank
From 21 November, all transfers to third party accounts with Danske Bank will automatically be executed as standard transfers, and the amount will be available to the beneficiary immediately after the payment has been made. Payments to third party accounts with Danske Bank can be made 365 days a year.

Payments in files
If you want to make express transfers via files, you must update your file format. You find the updated file formats here.

In the payment file, state that you want the payment to be executed as an express transfer − otherwise, it will be executed the following business day.

Please observe the following for express transfers via files

Payments sent in the EDIFACT format PAYMUL or comma-separated format CMOS cannot contain both express transfers, same-day transfers and standard transfers.
Payments in the ISO 20022 XML format may contain all three types, but the three types will be booked in three postings on the account if you want bulk debiting.
Files which only contain single payments (1-to-1) can contain all three types of payments.

Express transfers in the MT 101 format cannot be made until mid-February 2015.
