Danske Bank to Ireland

In December 2004 the Danske Bank Group signed an agreement with National Australia Bank to purchase Northern Bank in Northern Ireland and National Irish Bank in the Republic of Ireland, including the banks’ activities on the Isle of Man.

Danske Bank Group paid £967m (DKr10.4bn) for the shares of the holding company National Europe Holdings (Ireland) Ltd.
