Digital BankingDigital Banking

The purpose of the new Digital Banking program is to transform the bank to be much more digital and automated across channels in 2010, in order to:

  • Minimize response time for our customers
  • Increase self service and online sales
  • Create a paperless bank
  • Increase automated processes

A digital bank is a much more effective bank, which will lead to cost savings for Danske Bank as well as advantages for our customers in form of cheaper products, more self-service options and faster service.

The Digital Banking program is continuously implemented from 2008 to 2010. The investment will amount to about 1 billion Dkr., which will be booked in 2008 and 2009. The investment should be seen as a step to attain our financial targets for 2012.

The savings by implementing the project will occur continuously from 2008.
