The Group's IT development work is based on a development plan reflecting the Group's overall strategy and business plan. Currently the development plan focuses on the Digital Banking and IT Operational Excellence. Digital Banking entails automating processes and thus increasing digitalisation and self-service, while IT Operational Excellence concerns optimisation and quality assurance of the bank's IT systems.
The plan is adjusted every quarter so that it always matches the Group's needs and market position.
Digital Banking programme
Danske Bank's Digital Banking programme is intended to offer customers additional online solutions and increase the automation of work processes. The programme is being implemented from 2008 through 2011.
