Saying yes to a job is an important decision. That is why we have a thorough recruitment process, giving both you and ourselves the best possible basis for making the right decision when there is a job vacancy to be filled.

Your application
Once you have submitted your application to us you will immediately receive confirmation that we have received it. Shortly after the application deadline you will receive a message from the recruitment manager advising you whether you are being invited to attend an interview or not.

Preliminary interview
In the first instance we invite a number of applicants to preliminary interviews. The purpose of this interview is to introduce you to the Danske Bank Group and give you a clearer impression of the specific assignments and opportunities involved in the job. You also get a chance to talk about your experiences and motivation, and naturally you can use the interview to assess whether a job with the Danske Bank Group is the right thing for you.

Test and in-depth interview
If you progress further, you will be invited to an in-depth interview. The purpose of this is to go into the specifics of your profile and chart your personal preferences in a work situation. This is also the time when you can ask detailed questions about the job and the department. In this way we have a better basis upon which each of us can make a decision about a future appointment.

Before attending your in-depth interview we ask you to complete a personality test online. You will receive personal feedback on the test at the interview and will have the opportunity to comment on the test results. The test serves as a tool for dialogue and is never considered in isolation when we assess an applicant. When appointing recent graduates we also take into account final exam grades, which we use to assess your numerical skills and your ability to understand and interpret a text.

Recruited or not
Before you are offered a job, we will obtain references from your previous employer subject, of course, to you giving us permission to do so. The recruitment manager decides who will be employed. You will be given an answer personally, irrespective of whether you have been successful or not.
