Danica Pension is one of Denmark’s leading companies within life insurance and pension savings, and we help customers to think ahead. Our business is large enough for you to meet on an equal footing and small enough for dialogue to be of the highest quality. Our ambition is to run further than them all, and we want to bring humour and team spirit along with us while we do it.

Connection between what we say and do
It is important for us that there is a connection between what we say and do. This means that we have established benchmarks to ensure that we live up to our own independent interpretation of the Group’s five core values: integrity, expertise, value creation, commitment and accessibility.

For example, offering staff the absolute best in development opportunities is one of our benchmarks in relation to the “expertise” core value. It is only by supporting individual development that we can underpin our business ambition to be the industry’s leading company in terms of expert advice and product development. 
   
Considerable freedom of responsibility and dialogue
Our culture is characterised by an informal way of talking, freedom of responsibility and proactivity. At Danica Pension the chain to the top is a short one and dialogue is of the highest order.

Management regularly invites staff members to theme meetings at which you have the opportunity to ask questions and we also have a Friday evening bar in which everyone is invited to participate. Finally, management have been running blogs for some time.

A forward-looking environment where we work to think ahead
We are growing outside Denmark and all our different areas work closely together. Staff diversity is a strong point in terms of expansion abroad, and multidisciplinary cooperation often leads to a situation where 1 +1 adds up to 3. Staff
There are about 950 employees in Danica Pension, of whom 850 work in the Danish part of the organisation.
Customers
We have about 600,000 customers. Just under half of these have pension plans through their employer.  
History
Did you know that our history dates back to before 1847? At that time there were about 500 customers.
