Flexitime is the best aspect of my job. It is really good that I can plan my own day. We all take independent responsibility for our work. I have three small children and, for example, I can save some of my work until the evening when the children are sleeping, which means that I have a little more time with them when they are awake. I plan this on my own.

Varied work and operational freedom
My daily work involves visiting firms to make pension agreements. I talk to individual employees and advise them about their pension options. I work with both sales canvassing and existing customer groups. The work is extremely varied, and I really enjoy being in touch with customers.
Opens doors to the other areas
Danica is as well known as Danske Bank, both in the business world and by private customers. Nevertheless, because many customers think of Danske Bank when they see our Danica logo, it’s good to be able to offer them other products as well. I open doors to other business areas and in this way I can use the whole Group in my daily work.
Opportunities and resources
Apart from the fact that Danica is one of the largest players in the market, it is also the best workplace. It is good to have that security. There are many opportunities for development within the Group and many branches in terms of career planning. Every year we attend a staff appraisal meeting to discuss career needs and anything else that is happening. There are many resources available to help you achieve your target and have your needs fulfilled.
Good personal development
Over the years I have become better at networking with customers. I enjoy negotiating and direct selling and so today an increasing part of my work involves direct selling. I prioritise company schemes over individual policy holders. The work varies and very interesting. I have had the opportunity to go down this route and in this way I have both developed myself and have been given the necessary skills.
Plenty of leeway
In my previous job, the Danske Bank Group was portrayed as cold and cynical, and a place where people were overworked. Consequently, I had a slightly negative image of the place before I started in Danica. But the reality turned out to be completely different. It is very human, calm and peaceful and you get plenty of leeway. As long as I take care of my work nobody interferes.
