We are an open and dynamic workplace with an informal tone. We work in a hectic international business environment with many contact interfaces both within and outside the Group. Hectic or not – there is always room for a sense of humour.

Team-based with respect for individual initiative
Our work pattern is team-based with a common ‘Employee Charter’ which commits managers to delegate assignments and emploees to take initiatives and responsibility. A strong team orientation still leaves room for respect for the individual and personal responsibility counts for a lot.


Mission and vision

In Danske Capital our work is underpinned by our own mission and vision.

The mission ‘Return on knowledge’ – a return generated by our expertise – expresses the fact that we create value for our customers on the basis of our unique knowledge of the markets in which we operate.

The vision ‘Local insight – global platforms’ expresses the fact that through our local presence in our home markets we acquire knowledge that we can use in a global context.

Our customers
Our raison d’être is to supply our customers with competitive returns. Our customers include the larger institutional investors, pension funds, local authorities and private customers who invest through investment funds such as Danske Invest and Danske Fund.

Earnings

In 2007, Danske Capital contributed earnings of DKK  1.065 million to the Danske Bank Group.

We are around 500 employees – 200 of whom work in our head office in Copenhagen.
Geographic locations
    We are represented in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Luxembourg, as well as the Baltic states in Estonia and Lithuania.
