Fokus Bank employees have diverse backgrounds. Most new recruits come from the banking sector or from other types of relational selling environments, all of which will have provided sales experience and a good network. We also recruit a number of recently qualified academics at both branch and head office level and in our five finance centres, in which we have established specialist, dedicated infrastructures to cover areas such as asset management and financing.
New knowledge and learning
All employees have their own development plan which are reviewed at an annual development meeting. We work systematically to facilitate the development of staff knowledge and proficiency and are continually promoting and broadening the ongoing dialogue between members of staff and management.
