I really enjoy being in touch with customers. In my old job I was anchored to an office chair all day. Now I just love going out to meet customers. It is brilliant to be able to leave my desk in the middle of the day, get into my car, turn up the music and drive off to a customer meeting. It is really nice to have good relations with customers, and I’m pleased when both customers and the Bank are satisfied.

Variety
I decided to move to Danske Bank because I could not progress any further in my old job. Now I have both variety in my daily work and many job opportunities. I visit customers and appraise commercial property, provide advice on possible loans and collect relevant material. I also have close contacts with the Bank which is an important sparring partner in my job. You could describe me as a connecting link between customers and the Bank.
Plenty of opportunities
If one day I get bogged down in my job, then it is good to know that I have the possibility to move to another job within the Group. For example, at some point I could picture myself joining Realkredit Danmark’s commercial and industrial department. This is where they come up with ideas for new products and new ways of doing things. In the years that I have worked here I have moved round different offices and have really enjoyed seeing how they work in different parts of the organisation. It’s been a continual learning and personal development process.
A great place to work
Before joining the Group I had a picture of an elitist and a rather stiff company, in which there was not space for the ordinary customer. But I have discovered that the reality is completely different. It is great to work in a place in which there is room for everyone and the way of talking is relaxed and informal.
