AdviserAdviser

The Danske Bank Group recruits advisers for numerous different business areas including pensions, real estate, leasing and, of course, banking activities in the Group’s banks on the home market and abroad. In Denmark, most of our advisers work in the branch network, but we also have advisers in Danica Pension, Nordania Leasing and Realkredit Danmark. Irrespective of where you are recruited it will be full steam ahead; whether in terms of customers, new products, or sales and capability development.

Teamwork with a shared customer portfolio
Most advisers work in smaller teams, so it is important that you can be enthusiastic when it comes to producing results in collaboration with colleagues. A team typically has a shared customer portfolio and advisers are collectively responsible for delivering comprehensive advice based on customers’ needs, as well as focusing on selling to existing and new customers. Advisers in the Group have a complete palette of financial products and services to offer to their customers and work with the branches’ most advanced it systems – supported by a top professional back office facility that handles the administrative tasks.

Good relations are the key to satisfied customers. Our advisers therefore concentrate on forging close relationships with customers in order to create value both for the customers and for the Group. We place a great deal of emphasis on ensuring that advisers are always up to date and attentive in dialogue – and that they are aware of the impact of the right combination of listening, questioning and speaking.

Education and development
Our advisers typically have an academic education in financial advising or another related discipline. Danske Bank provides opportunities for further education through its Financial Further Education programme and other relevant professional and sales courses. These are tailored to meet advisers’ own wishes as regards their future career development and builds on their existing academic education in financial advising or related subjects. Advisers can progress from personal customer adviser to senior personal customer adviser, personal customer manager or business adviser – and in the long term, possible deputy director or director of a branch.
