The Danske Bank Group recruits communicators in many areas, both in decentralised brands and group units and the Group's central communications function.

All communication disciplines in play
We have communicators in just about every discipline – internal and external communication, press, cross-organisational communication projects etc. Whatever the discipline, the goal for our communicators is to develop and facilitate communication that is authentic, professional and targeted. We have a key role in the work to use the Group's channels and employees to strengthen our position as a communicating organisation internally and externally. And we typically work closely with group units and brands.
Diverse professional profiles
The Group’s communicators come from a wide range of backgrounds – journalists, academics, video technicians and also banking staff with supplementary education in sales/marketing/communication. Common to all is knowledge of what good communication is, the ability to put it into practice, and an understanding of short deadlines and relevance. It is also important that our communicators have their own viewpoints which they can, and should, express when giving advice. They must easily be able to appreciate other people’s ways of working and should be well reasoned and diplomatic based on a business and strategic understanding.
A communicator’s career path typically progresses via specialisation to a senior position such as team manager, another brand related job in the Group, or a senior management position.
