The Danske Bank Group recruits HR consultants in many areas, both in its decentralised brands and in Group units such as the central HR function, one of the largest in Denmark. For many years HR has been high on the Group’s strategic agenda, and our HR consultants work within a broad range of HR disciplines including skills/abilities development, recruitment, performance management, talent development and employer branding.
A significant number of our HR consultants work on developing group-wide concepts while others focus more on concept implementation. All HR consultants have a responsibility to work systematically, strategically and with a forward-thinking approach so that we can always match the Group’s business-related needs and the daily challenges faced by managers; for example, issues relating to change and development of staff and of the organisation as a whole. This is why all our HR consultants have comprehensive contact with managers and staff throughout the Group.
Good understanding of culture and values
A basic quality of HR consultants in the Group is their ability to operate in accordance with their own values and those of the organisation and its different cultures, and present themselves as a good example for others. They must also be methodical, result-oriented and reflective. Assignments often include challenging, organisational work that necessitates deliberation and tough decisions.
Skills and a well organised methodology
Most of the Group’s HR consultants have a solid background in HR – and often have an academic education. Our HR consultants constantly augment their qualifications with professional know-how, methods and technology.
