Most business developers in the Danske Bank Group work in our large 1,500-strong it development organisation, in which they play a key role in selected projects. The overall task of it business developers is to contribute to projects’ future operation on the basis of the requirements and norms laid down in the Group’s development model.

IT business developers can have many different assignments, including:

The job makes considerable demands of the business developer’s skills in advising, informing and guiding colleagues throughout the Group. Business developers must be able to view things from a user’s perspective and translate their needs into high quality solutions. These will be implemented through creativity, independence, flexibility, and a flair for dealing with complex issues and the ability to take decisions when it comes to the overall project and its process management.

Some it business developers have specialist experience within one particular sector, but at the same time they must be able to work across the organisation in other areas.
