Our goal is to have more female managers in the Danske Bank Group. And we are making good progress with an increasing number of especially younger female managers. To further reinforce this trend we signed "Charter for More Women in Management" in 2010.

Actions behind the goals
As a part of signing the Charter we have identified a number of goals and activities. Among other things at least one candidate must be female when we use headhunters for management positions. And no less than 40 percent of the participants in our talent programmes must be women.
In order to motivate more talents to pursue a leadership career we are also actively working with the Group’s personnel policies. Consequently, we are aware that our managers should also be able to strike a sensible balance between career and private life. This can be achieved, for example, through flexible working conditions that leave plenty of time for the family and leisure.
