Come and join us in the work with a unique project, which is first of its kind in the world of banking! Right now, we are looking to hire a gifted UX Designer to be part of a creative environment with focus on creation of excellent user experience, in a digital business-banking product.
In Danske Bank we are committed to be at the forefront of digital development in our pursuit to create the bank of the future. To do this, we need bright minds and highly motivated individuals with a can-do spirit and the courage to challenge the way we do things.
Innovation – our team’s pride of place
Becoming part of Future Financing within Group Development is an opportunity to work in an untraditional banking setup characterized by a start-up culture, high pace, agile development, flat hierarchy and an overarching customer-focused approach. Our aim is to innovate the way business banking is done.
The Future Financing team is currently creating a solution, which highly benefits our business banking customers. We are excited to be working on something truly unique, the first of its kind and breaking ground in the world of banking.
Our team is pretty cool, if we might say so ourselves. We are located in downtown Copenhagen, and our 60-person office is full of energy. Each of our 2-week sprints has a theme, and we incorporate social activities into our everyday work life like bake-offs, building robots, decorating ugly Christmas sweaters, colouring Easter eggs – only your imagination sets the boundary. As you can see, creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere at the office is a top priority, and even though the hours might be long before a deadline, we have a solid work/life balance and great benefits to boot.
Designing based on user needs
Broadly speaking, your daily activities will be to link the business needs, with the customer requests and wireframe, prototype, design and test these concepts. Our goal is to regularly perform user tests, so part of your responsibility will also be to organise, facilitate, and synthesise the results of testing. Examples on daily tasks can be:
- Customer interviews to gain insights
- Development of prototypes in cooperation with the team as well as testing
- Design reviews
As a UX designer in our new project, you will be part of our user experience team who organise and facilitate the research, interaction design and UI design for our solutions. On deck, we also have front- and backend developers, business analysts and a bunch of other passionate minds.
Can-do attitude and creative problem solving skills
We are looking for a senior UX designer who comes with a strong toolbox, build from previous work experiences - this is nessecary to become a succes in this role. You have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Interaction/Digital Design, Computer Science or Informatics (or similar fields). Besides this, you have professional UX design experience for software or web applications with a proven record of accomplishment and a portfolio that displays your previous projects.
Furthermore, you have experience in developing and working with design systems as well as working with customer insights and testing. You are used to work with production of concepts and design, in form of wireframes or similar deliverables.
High proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or other design tools are preferred. Since we are working in cross-functional teams with digital products, it will be a benefit if you bring experience in these areas.
Your greatest assets are your passion, a “can-do” attitude, creative problem-solving skills and your ability to be self-organizing and a self-starter. You must be able to work autonomously, with the mandate to move fast and do things differently. You dare to fail and learn from it. Besides this, essential qualities are your abilities to put the customers first, being a team player and collaborating with many different types of people – always challenging ideas and learning quickly.
You speak and write both Danish and English.
