Do you want to be part of modernizing the card platform of one of the largest banks in the Nordics? If you are an ambitious and experienced .Net engineer, we offer a great opportunity to be part of driving the technological development of our payment card services.

We are embarking on a journey to modernize our legacy platform into a modern API-based platform where the customer service is in focus.

As a chief .Net engineer, you will be part of a team where you will drive the technology agenda together with a global team of highly skilled .Net engineers. You will be the main technology sparring coach for the team and show the direction.

The Role
The Card Systems department counts approximately 70+ talented employees in Denmark, India, and Lithuania possessing end-to-end product and system responsibility across sites.

Focus area:

  • Enable your local team and global team in regards to .Net development and cloud based technologies
  • Inspire, motivate and coach your team members to increase skills and ensure continuous competence improvements
  • Be a global sparring partner for all development teams
  • Be on the forefront on our ongoing technology journey to cloud based technologies
  • Promote agile way of working in a large scale and complex environment
Area of expertise:
  • Strong technologist writing SOLID C# code on .NET Core
  • MSSQL data persistence with EF Core and Elastic stack
  • Event driven design; RabbitMQ and IBM WebsphereMQ messaging systems (real time data, Kafka)
  • DDD, Event sourcing, APIs and microservice architecture design
  • Containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Testing using TDD, xUnit, Moq, AutoFixture and SpecFlow
  • CI/CD/CD pipelines with TFS and DevOps experience
  • Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence) for Scrum and team collaboration
  • Understanding of critical enterprise systems, Microsoft and open source stack on cloud infrastructure
  • Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Strong agile mindset and a passion to lead agile change while keeping all in great collaborative dialogue
  • Fluent in English
  • Proactive, positive, passionate and outspoken
  • Strong “can do” attitude and persistent in achieving goals
