You will in this position get great insights into the wealth management space of Danske Bank and the control framework that follows, which is a highly prioritized area.
You will be part of Wealth Management’s newly established Regulatory Control team, which is part of the COO & 1st Line Risk department.
Regulatory Controls will in the coming months and years develop and strengthen a solid controlling and reporting setup in Wealth Management. The team is responsible for ensuring that Wealth Management lives up to regulatory requirements such as investor protection and market abuse.
The team both have development tasks and requests which will be specified and developed over time. The team also has daily tasks that needs to be executed on.
The team works closely together with colleagues COO & 1st Line Risk, who consist of risk professionals, finance sector SME’s, project managers, process professionals and more.
The organisation the team is part of is global, why the position can be placed in our offices across the Nordic region (Copenhagen area, Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo).
As a regulatory controls officer you are part of ensuring that the bank globally lives up to both existing and future regulatory requirements in the wealth management space such as MiFID I & II and Market Abuse.
You will participate in project work, assess new regulation and specify requirements for new processes, procedures, controls, reports and tools / system changes.
Within the different controlling areas you will be part of doing analysis, tools, programmes, calculations, establish data based controls and importantly communicating and following up on the results. A key focus will be how we automate and ensure strong communication and ownership in the wider Wealth Management unit of the findings.
You have a master degree in Economics / Finance with an interest in operationalising regulatory requirements. You have an understanding and / or interest in the financial area of wealth management. You know one or more programming tools such as SAS / SQL.
