Do you have the organisational understanding and structured approach to ensure that the Executive Board in Danske Bank collaborates efficiently and effectively?
At the CEO Office we are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our small but highly impactful team.
The CEO Office is overall responsible for ensuring and providing both the CEO and the Executive Board strategic and operational support. One of our key functions is to act and drive transformation throughout the organisation. We need to act as integrators, bringing together relevant colleagues from across the Group to ensure that there is traction on particular priorities and projects – and on Danske Bank’s journey at large.
As Executive Assistant, your overall responsibility is to ensure that all ordinary and extraordinary Executive Board meetings run smoothly. Moreover, you will help supporting the CEO with the follow-up on his priorities more generally, which gives unique insights into Danske Bank’s organization and ways of working as well as exposure across the organisation.
Since we are a small team, it is often “all hands on deck”. We need to be able to stand in for each other, helping each other out where we can. We will clearly assign primary responsibilities but we will often need to pitch in when there are activity spikes around specific events. We work in a high-pressure environment, where we need to deliver high quality, consistently. To make that happen, we need to enjoy what we are doing. So even when things get hectic, we are good at making each other laugh and carry on.
Your responsibilities include:
Structured coordinator with excellent English skills
- Ensuring well-prepared and impactful Executive Board meetings
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant corporate governance requirements
- Independently providing ad hoc CEO and Executive Board support
- Driving support for the CEO and the Executive Board in their cooperation with the Board of Directors
- Structuring and coordinating CEO driven projects
You bring to the position a master's degree in a relevant field and at least five years of work experience upon graduation.
You have demonstrated a level of discretion appropriate for working on highly confidential matters and sensitive information and proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organisation. Understanding of Danske Bank’s organisation, business model and strategy is an advantage. In order to succeed in the role you need excellent communication skills and English fluency, both in writing and orally.
On a more personal level we are looking for someone with high integrity. You are a communicator by nature and collaborate well with colleagues from all levels of the organisation. The ability to deliver high quality work even when under pressure is crucial - as is a structured and systematic approach to your work and a constant attention to detail.
If you have any questions please contact Pernille Als Fussing, Head of CEO Office, at +45 40 13 68 83.
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
Send application and CV no later than 22.02.2019.
