Are you interested in settling securities globally? Are you passionate about post trade service in securities settlement team – then keep reading. As a Securities Senior Settlements Officer, you will help settling trades in global equities and bonds across different markets.

We are looking for a new team member, who is keen on efficiently handling securities trade settlement tasks, deliver high quality on time and continuously seeks to improve.
You will join Danske Bank Markets Customer Service Delivery department, where we work responsible, globally and customer-centric. The team is located in Høje Tåstrup in Denmark, but you will work closely with colleagues in other countries as well.
Settlement of securities, follow up on trades, being proactive towards clients and counterparts.
We are on a daily basis handling all Danske Banks equity and bond trades, making sure trades are settled on time. We follow up on failing trades, communication with our counterparts and helping our trades with queries.
Some of our responsibilities are:
- Handling of the securities settlement tasks
- Instructing new trades, creation payments, preparation of SWIFT messages
- Investigating and resolving exceptions and discrepancies, securities and cash reconciliation
- Daily communication with different stakeholders within the bank, external counterparties and custodian banks all over the world.
- Proactive settlement risk management, continuous improvement of the service – helping shaping the future.

We are expecting you to have an open-mind and believe in thoroughness. You are a person with a systematic approach in all you do, and conduct accuracy and conformity with all your daily operation routine.
You are able to acquire in knowledge quickly, and it is easy for you to adapt to changes. You have focus on taking ownership of the different tasks, and it is natural for you to keep calm in hectic periods. You find it motivating to process large volumes of tasks within tight deadlines.
As the vast majority of both oral and written communication is in English, high skills in English are required. Other language skills such as Danish or other Nordic language is an advantage.
You are a success in this role when you can help to make a difference in our daily work, can see new ways of doing things and add value to our team.
You might have work experience in market instrument settlement or closely related operations from previous positions – perhaps even knowledge about settlement in Euroclear or CSD´s.
