The Performance Management team, alongside its sister departments, are responsible for vendor management disciplines such as; contract management, relationship management, SLA-management and reporting and IT asset management.

We serve contract owners across Group IT and collaborate closely with other Group functions such as Legal, Risk, Finance, Procurement and Service Management process owners to incorporate, monitor and drive all aspects of the vendor performance.

We are looking for a Performance Manager to manage a portfolio of vendors underpinning critical IT services of Danske Bank. Your main objective will be to obtain value for money from vendors and to provide seamless quality of IT service to the business by ensuring that all contracts and agreements with vendors, support the agreed needs of the business and that all suppliers meet their contractual commitments. You will report to the Head of Performance Management with responsibility for the performance of a portfolio of vendors.

Negotiate, on-board and drive performance of vendors
You will serve as IT Operations gatekeeper, ensuring that new contracts contain the right requirements that ensures seamless service integration between the parties. In practice, you will take lead in negotiating new Service Level Agreements and cross functional requirements so that metrics and process interfaces will allow processes co-exist and support the desired outcomes.

You will be responsible for on-boarding suppliers and to subsequently identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve service excellence across IT operation processes. In cooperation with the contract owner, you will be managing the performance of the supplier and drive service reviews. You will be monitoring the supplier’s deliveries and as well as their ability to adhere to their obligations ensuring that non performance is addressed and that issues are qualified.

You will serve as a liaison between the business/contract owners and vendors to plan, build, develop and manage ongoing relationships to achieve company objectives. Internally you will be recognized as an advisor and facilitator for Service Design activities that ensures that the all Service Level Agreements are negotiated, agreed and documented.

We expect that you have a strong business acumen and an ability to transform customer business objectives to vendor incentives to successful drive performance and behaviour. Strategically and creatively thinking; you seek opportunities and solutions to achieve the business’ objectives while improving operational capabilities. You are driven by identifying, reviewing and implementing continuous improvements initiatives.

Experience with management of complex IT contacts
We expect that you have professional experience with management of complex IT contracts preferably from a large customer organisation or from an IT vendor managing service delivery. Your core foundation is built on your understanding of IT operations processes and a holistic understanding of how value chains delivers the desired outcomes. In addition you are experienced in negotiating and managing service level agreements.

You are experienced working in a multi-sourced environment where service integration and management (SIAM) is a core discipline. It is an advantage but not a prerequisite that you are holding certificates within best practice and standards such as ITIL, IT4IT or SIAM.

Danske Bank has two corporate languages – Danish and English. It is required that you master at least English on negotiation level. Danish or other Nordic languages capabilities will be an advantage. The job is situated at Danske Bank’s location in Glostrup.
