We are looking for a Software Architect with strong communication skills who can drive the development of our portfolio. First priority will be to make sure we have a future proof architecture for onboarding.
The portfolio also covers all aspects of product ordering, which will eventually play a central part in our digital onboarding journey, as well as in practically all other journeys. We see the ability to create a digital experience for our customers as key to provide value going forward. Within onboarding resides the responsibility to know who you customers are, to make sure they are not misusing the bank for anything illegal. This is off course of highest importance and a top priority for us.
As a Software Architect you play a central role. You have an important dialogue with the business about how strategy and needs are transformed and maintained in solution concepts that are technically feasible within the overall framework financially and in terms of architecture. In short, this means that communication and architecture method are important keywords, and that you feel completely at home regardless of whether we speak PaaS internal cloud, domain driven design, event driven micro services, NoSQL database or mainframe.
Your profile and opportunities
You are an ambitious, experienced and high performing Software Architect who is passionate about developing solutions that are "best in class". You will be responsible for a complex IT architecture that spans several technologies and integrates with many of the bank's other central systems. Your responsibilities include developing the department's system portfolio in relation to business strategy, roadmaps and target architecture. In addition, you get the overall technical responsibility for the department's deliveries in close cooperation with the area's cross functional leads.
You contribute to quality assurance of the department's technical deliveries, as well as ensuring high process maturity around our development processes. We see it as a great advantage if you also have a passion for programming and stay sharp in this discipline by programming from time to time yourself - particularly on complex components e.g. in a proof-of-concept. We also expect that you can contribute to detailed design and enter into a dialogue with the department's IT developers about programming, choice of standards, development pipelines, etc.
You bring solid experience in IT architecture, where you have demonstrated good results in relation to complex IT deliveries. You have experience with coaching highly skilled IT developers, and can coach on both details and high level architecture. It is a plus if you also have experience developing complex end2end processes across IT platforms, as well as legacy system migration for better architectures and newer platforms. Your practical experience is supported by a master's degree in IT. Seamless communication in English is a prerequisite.
