NorthStar is organized as a start-up and is Asset Finance’s bet on the future where the market moves faster than the traditional business can. The ambition is to push the boundaries of asset financing and become the market leader in the Nordics. NorthStar first edition was released to market after only five months of development, and we strive to meet the customers’ needs and deliver improvements on an ongoing basis.
You will be contributing in two squads, each consisting of 5-6 people, who is responsible for delivering valuable functionality to our end customers and ensuring correct handling of data and calculations. The squads are part of a greater tribe currently consisting of approximately 30 people located in both Copenhagen and Vilnius. The aim is to be 40 people by 2020. The tribe is a mix across the value chain empowered to take decisions and act on them. We are working scrum based with sprints of two weeks.
As a Business Analyst in NorthStar, you will work closely with Product Owners to:
- Collect and analyse business needs and translate them into business requirements
- Engage as a subject-matter expert towards our IT development team members
- Drive or support problem solving and tasks
- You will engage in critical thinking, solving and identifying improvement opportunities
Broadly speaking, your daily activities will be to marry the business needs with the customer requests and follow your tasks from idea to implementation.
Required expertise and experience:
- A master’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or similar
- Expert in Excel
- Analytical mind-set and a high attention to details
- Working proficiency (written and spoken) in Danish and English
- Working with cross-disciplinary teams and digital products
- Acquainted with agile methodology and work in Jira
- Proficiency in VBA, SQL or other coding language
- A few years of experience is a benefit
