You will be responsible for managing the team and continue developing our accounting function into a competence centre for our Nordic fund management companies. This involves taking responsibility for all fund accounting processes across our three Nordic Danske Invest management companies in Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki. The position is based in Copenhagen.

Fund accounting processes across our Nordic fund offerings
Your key objective will be to continue our automatization and alignment of the fund accounting processes across the Nordics. This includes successful development of efficient processes for production of financial statements, financial reporting to management and boards, accounting and financial controlling and a major stakeholder in our authority reporting on funds. In daily operations, you will work closely with our NAV calculation and Reporting teams, also part of Valuation & Reporting, and the rest of our administration value chain supporting the daily operations of our funds. Our core asset management system is SimCorp Dimension, also supporting our fund accounting.

The Fund Accounting team currently consists of eight people based in Copenhagen. You will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and solid fund accounting platform, development of functions and activities in the team - based also on close collaboration with employees and managers in the other Nordic fund management companies.

International and structured mindset
Relevant Master degree combined with solid accounting experience, e.g. from a major audit firm or a fund management company. This has provided you with an in-depth knowledge of European accounting rules and regulations for fund management, familiarity with financial instruments and perhaps knowledge of SimCorp Dimension.

On a personal level, you have a positive and flexible mind set with a strong focus on details and results and perhaps experience working across borders. You have a structured approach to problem solving, both when it comes to handling details and working on the bigger picture. You have good communication skills and an inspirational management style.
